Weekend Wrap Up

Unfortunately various weekend priorities have prevented me from reporting weather conditions. However, there was nothing really exciting to discuss in exception to the warm weather. My predictions were correct in terms of temperatures remaining above freezing. I got to witness substantial snow melting and sunny warm (for winter) days.

Although  Deceiving for February its Still Nice
To See Melting Snow
Saturday was very similar to Friday. The sun was out for the greater part of the day and the temperature stayed above freezing throughout the afternoon. Just like Friday there was a significant amount of melting and I was again excited to see puddles forming. Very few white puffy clouds covered the sky and there was no precipitation. Also the wind was hardly noticeable.

Sunday was slightly different compared to Saturday, in regards to cloud coverage. Although it was decently warm Sunday with temperatures just around freezing, there was a thick gray cloud cover over the entire sky. What made temperatures seem significantly colder in comparison to previous couple days was the dramatic pick up in wind speed. So with less sun exposure and stronger winds Sunday felt much colder.
