Happy March!

Due to very uneventful weather conditions this past weekend, I decided to take advantage of my time and enjoy my weekend after a long school week, and post a quick recap. In my last post I predicted temperatures to remain fairly chilly as long as winds continued to bring air in from the north. I also stated there would be a lack of precipitation due to the lack of water vapor present in the air. For the most part I was accurate in my predictions.

This past weekends weather conditions was, in a lot of ways, similar to the previous week. Majority of the time the sun shining against clear blue skies with little to no cloud cover. In addition to the clear sunny skies, there was no sign of precipitation throughout most of the weekend, with exception to the very brief light snowfall Sunday morning. Even though there was a short snowfall, it seems hardly worth mentioning considering the dry air prevented any significant snow fall. Temperatures Friday were still chilly, just as the previous week, however with a change in wind direction this weekend the air has become increasingly warmer beginning on Friday afternoon. Temperatures Friday moved out of the single digits and into the teens, and even into the high 20s both Saturday and Sunday. All and all, nothing interesting to report for weekend conditions. Clear sunny skies, some increase in temperatures, and a very very brief snowfall can easily sum up the entire weekend.

Brief Snow Fall, Sunday Morning
Hopefully the wind continues to blow from the south throughout the coming week, which would continue to increase temperatures, and give the new month of March hope for some much wanted spring weather. I anticipate some slight increase in temperatures coming with the new month as well a slight increase in precipitation.
