Happy Groundhog Day!

 Bummer!

Wind: WSW 12mph
Precipitation: 0%

Actual Temperature
Fortunately I was accurate with the majority of my predictions from yesterday. I predicted cloud cover to be less dense than the previous day and this morning as I was making my way to campus I was able to enjoy the sun shining in a clear sky. In addition to the cloud cover I predicted that there was not going to be a chance of precipitation considering how temperatures were fairly cold. The only prediction I made that I can conclude was inaccurate was the wind direction. I stated how the winds would still blow from the north, however they have changed direction and are now coming from the south.

Although I had hope for a bright sunny day this morning, that hope soon began to fade and a thin hazy cloud formed over the entire sky. For a while I could see the sun glowing faintly behind the haze, however I can see that cloud is beginning to thicken. Aside from the clouds forming there is still no precipitation, which is fairly good news considering my feelings toward snow. Furthermore as I had previously stated, the winds have shifted and are now coming more from the south, which is also good news.

What Temperature Actually Feels Like
Considering the shifts in winds I am hopeful that the weather will begin the warm up within the next few days. As the weather warms up I also can infer the chance for precipitation will increase. Although the increase in temperature is something to look forward to, I am not so thrilled about an increase chance in snow.
