Wind: 0 mph
Precipitation: 100%

As far as my predictions from yesterday I was definitely correct about the increase chance in precipitation. Even though I can pride myself with the accuracy of my prediction, I am not so thrilled about the actual outcome of snow. If the snow wasn't enough to put a damper on my day, I was also inaccurate in assuming the weather would begin to warm up. Today was still fairly cold.

Snow Advisory Shown in Blue
Today was fairly cold throughout the day staying consistently in the mid teen range, which of course is not surprising for this time of year in Wisconsin. In addition to the below freezing temperatures there was total cloud cover over the sky which lasted the entire day, with little to no wind. Due to the high pressure system that is making its way in a light snow began to fall later in the afternoon. While watching through the window I noticed the light snow flurries transform into heavy wet flakes.  Because of the snow, Eau Claire county has gone into a winter weather advisory and is expecting around one to two inches. Although this snow is typical I am not too happy about it. However,I would much rather have a snowy winter over the extreme cold type which we experienced last year.

Tomorrow I am still hopeful for the weather to begin to warm. You might say I am overly anxious for spring, but its the only thing that is going to get me through the rest of the winter. In addition to the warmth I am also predicting more snow in addition to the snowfall that we are experiencing today.
