Wind Chill Advisory Still in Effect
My predictions form yesterday for today were correct considering we are still in a wind chill advisory. I noted that as long as we kept recieving winds coming from the north bringing in polar continental air, conditions would remain cold. Not only did I predict the cold to stick around, but today feels even COLDER than yesterday.

In contrast to the cold, todays skies have been surprisingly sunny with little to no visibile cloud cover. There has also been no type of precipitation today and there is no chance for any for the rest of today and tonight. It has been brutally cold, with negative temperatures. If  the temperatures alone werent enough to make today unbearably cold, wind chills have made the air feel as low as negative 20. The north winds are forcing polar continental air into Eau Claire yet again, making for a miserable day, despite the sunny skies.

Brutal Winds Create Severely Cold Temperatures
Unfortunately I dont anticipate much change for tomorrow. Temperatures will most likely stay around or below zero. Hopefully the wind direction will change or slow down, preventing these ridiculously cold wind chill temperatures. Once the winds stop bringing air in from the north we can expect temperatures to warm up.
