BRRR!

Temperature: 15
Real Feel: -6
Wind: SW 15 mph
Precipitation: 0%
Humidity: 49%

Once again I was wrong about warmer temperatures for today. I also was not completely accurate about the cloud cover for today. However, I was correct in saying that the wind direction would shift and begin to blow from the south and also that there was not going to be much in regards to precipitation.

High Pressure Systems Bringing Cold Weather to
Eau Claire
Today was extremely cold with temperatures cold with a high temperature that was only in the mid teen range. Not only was the temperature cold, the wind chill decreased the temperatures even more, keeping the actual feel in the negatives. Fortunately this morning started out fairly sunny, with only a few scattered sirius clouds. As the afternoon progressed there was an increase in cloud coverage but, clouds began to disperse throughout the evening and the sun was shining once again as it started to set. No precipitation present today considering the cold temperatures that are present due to the high pressure systems in the northern Midwest.

Although the temperatures were fairly cold today, there is hope for the next few days because of the change in wind direction. Because winds are now blowing from the south, it is expected to warm up slightly. I have not gotten my hopes up for any dramatic increases, however, I do think there will be an increase in temperature by a couple degrees. Hopefully the wind chill doesn't greatly effect that increase.
