At Least There's Sun

Temperature: 49
Real Feel: 44
Wind: NW 13 mph
Precipitation: 0%
Humidity: 22%

Fortunately my prediction sunny skies and calmer winds was accurate for today. The low pressure conditions we were experiencing have now died out, as I mentioned, and high pressure is upon us instead. Because of the high pressure, skies are clear and sunny and despite another day of north west winds, they have calmed down dramatically. With calmer winds, the slight increase in temperature for today is much more noticeable.

Still Going Up!
Todays skies are beautifully sunny, and there are not apparent clouds I am noticing. High pressure sitting closely to the west of Wisconsin is providing means for the sun to shine next to full blue skies. The high pressure is also contributing to significantly calmer winds today compared to yesterday. Unfortunately, the winds are still consistent north west winds preventing temperatures to increase much more as polar continental air is still being brought towards Eau Claire. Not only are the winds contributing to a lack of increase in temperature, but the cold front which has recently passed is allowing the cold northern air to stick around as it now sits to the south. Precipitation is unlikely with respect the high pressure and very dry air.

High Pressure
Very Dry Air
I am still hopeful for temperatures to increase, therefore I will yet again be predicting a further increase for tomorrow. With the continuation of the high pressure I am more confident that an increase will in fact occur. Although tomorrow will still only increase at minimal rates considering the wind direction, cold front, and our position in a slight trough within in the jet stream, as those things change so will the temperature.

Still Stuck Within That
Cold Trough
