Thursday....

Temperature: 56
Real Feel: 67
Wind: NNE 5 mph
Precipitation: 0%
Humidity: 31%

Because high pressure is still in effect for Wisconsin, conditions have remained pleasantly warm and sunny just as I predicted. In addition to the high pressure, Wisconsin is still on the edge within a high pressure ridge contributing to the consistent warm weather. Both of these factors are providing means for a calm winds, warmth, and sunshine.
High Pressure Again!

Still in that Jet Stream Ridge
Similar to yesterday, the skies are completely clear as high pressure continues to prevail. The high pressure systems, both to the east and west of Wisconsin, are contributing to calm north, north east winds. Despite the northern wind direction, Wisconsin remains within a high pressure ridge allowing warm continental tropical air to effect the area. because of this temperatures continue warm. As far as precipitation for today, it once again does not seem likely with respect to both high pressure and dry air.

Calm North Winds in Wisconsin - Strong
Around Low Pressure to the West
Dry Air

I mentioned yesterday that this high pressure will not last forever, which will in turn end our beautiful conditions. The high pressure areas are strongly flowing to the low pressure areas to the south west. Fortunately, once the high pressure relocates to the south west, wind direction in Wisconsin will most likely shift to a south western pattern. With south west winds in relation to sitting within the ridge of the jet stream, temperatures will further increase. The bad news is, that even though temperatures will likely rise, cloudy stormy weather is more likely a possibility for the next couple days. High pressure is slowly dying out which will likely bring clouds tomorrow, and then rain or possibly storms to follow.
