Another Storm Maybe?

Temperature: 76
Real Feel: 76
Wind: SE 17 mph
Precipitation: 90%
Humidity: 47%

I mentioned that rain showers and possible storms were likely to occur today because of steady south east winds, an incoming warm front, and significant amounts of water vapor. However, the magnitude to which I was expecting had not occurred, and there was only one small rain shower earlier in the day. I was accurate in predicting an increase in temperature for today, but it was not caused by the warm front as it has not moved far enough north, but more so because of a high pressure ridge and south winds.

Today started off pleasantly sunny but soon stratus overcast skies began to accumulate around mid to late morning. After full cloud cover developed, a short rain fall occurred. Shortly after the rain ended, clouds began to disperse and for the remainder of the afternoon partly cloudy skies prevailed. Steady south east winds have lasted all throughout today because of significant amounts of high pressure toward the east. Temperatures were considerably warm around 80 degrees and the air felt considerably humid as there is significant amounts of water vapor in the air yet. Skies once again turned to overcast in the evening and it appears storms are very possible for tonight. Warm humid air, south east winds, and contrasting air masses from an approaching front creates the extreme possibility for storms.

With significant high pressure areas to the east, eastern winds will likely remain yet through tomorrow. In addition to east winds and warm moist air, storms may likely be possibly for tomorrow as well.
